NPO inks MoU with DCCI to boost productivity

National Productivity Organisation Thursday signed a memorandum of understanding with Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry to work together for increasing productivity in different sectors of the national economy.

In presence of industries secretary Md Abdul Halim, NPO director Mohammad Salauddin and DCCI president Osama Taseer inked the agreement on behalf of their respective sides at a function at the industries ministry in the city, said a press release.

Under the MoU, NIPO and DCCI will jointly hold four workshops in a year to raise productivity in different industrial sector and sub sectors. DCCI will also hold two seminars or workshops centrally on productivity in a year and both organisations will extend other cooperation.

Senior officials of the industries ministry were present on the occasion.
