Maleficent, Zombies invade Dhaka cinemas

Much anticipated Hollywood films Maleficent: Mistress of Evil and Zombieland: Double Tap have been released at the branches of Star Cineplex and Blockbuster Cinemas in the capital on Friday.

Maleficent: Mistress of Evil is a 2019 American dark fantasy adventure film produced by Walt Disney Pictures, directed by Joachim Rønning, and written by Linda Woolverton, Micah Fitzerman-Blue and Noah Harpster. It is a sequel to the 2014 film Maleficent.

The film revolves around the relationship between Maleficent and her grand-daughter Aurora. Together, they must face new allies and enemies in a bid to protect the magical lands which they share.

Hollywood action film Zombieland: Double is directed by Ruben Fleischer, produced by Gavin Polone. Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick and Dave Callaham have jointly written the screenplay.

Zombieland: Double Tap shows an America overrun by zombies. Four survivors Tallahassee, Columbus, Wichita, and Little Rock have become experts in identifying and disposing of various zombies.

As the story moves forward the team visits the abandoned White House and Columbus decides to propose to Wichita using the Hope Diamond.
