National language festival held at NSU

North South University organised a two-day long national language festival titled ‘Language League 2019’ on the campus in Dhaka on Friday.

Minister for planning Muhammad Abdul Mannan was present as the chief guest at the inaugural session of the festival. Daily Samakal acting editor Mustafiz Shafi, China embassy in Bangladesh minister counsellor Yan Hualong, North South University board of trustees chairman Benajir Ahmed, and Partex Group chairman and university board of trustees former chairman MA Hashem were present as special guests. University vice-chancellor Atiqul Islam presided over the programme.

Deans of different schools, directors of various departments, department heads, senior officials, teachers, students from different schools, colleges and universities of the country competing in Bangla, English and Chinese language were present, among others, during the programme.
