Miss Universe Bangladesh judges Tahsan Khan and Kaniz Almas Khan, along with organisers and top ten contestants, unveil the crown of the pageant at Amisheé Fine Jewellery showroom in Gulshan on Tuesday. – Press release

The crown of Miss Universe Bangladesh was unveiled at the showroom of Amisheé Fine Jewellery located in Gulshan on Tuesday.

Judges of the pageant Tahsan Khan and Kaniz Almas Khan along with head of business of Amisheé Rokeya Sultana, chairman of Miss Universe Bangladesh Rizwan Bin Farouq and top 10 Miss Universe Bangladesh contestants unveiled the crown.

‘The crown contains 750 diamonds and we have used south sea pearls as well. We are happy to be the part of such a big event,’ said Rokeya Sultana.

Bangladesh is participating in the Miss Universe beauty pageant for the first time. The winner of the Bangladesh segment will be known as Miss Universe Bangladesh. She will participate in the 68th edition of Miss Universe which will be held in South Korea in December.

‘Beauty pageants like these boost the confidence of our women and provide for them an international platform to showcase their talent. I wish all the contestants good luck,’ shared Kaniz Almas Khan.

The grand finale of Miss Universe Bangladesh will be held on October 23. Miss Universe 1994 Sushmita Sen is scheduled to attend the event.
