A writ petition was filed Sunday seeking a directive to the government to ban students’ and teachers’ politics on campuses.
The petitioner, a lawyer, also prayed for another directive to the government to ensure students security at all the educational institutions.
He told reporters that he had filed the writ petition in the backdrop of murder of BUET student Abrar Fahad.
The petitioner also prayed for a directive to the government to pay compensations to Abrar’s parents.
