Finance minister AMA Muhith on Wednesday said that he would receive a loan worth more than 800 million US dollar from the Asian Development Bank in the current year from its six billion dollar aid in pipeline.
He expressed his expectation while talking to the reporters’ after a meeting with visiting ADB vice-president Wencai Zhang at the secretariat.
Muhith said Bangladesh also received 813 million dollar as loan from the ADB in the last year.
He said there is six billion dollar of aid in the ADB pipeline for Bangladesh.
He said they wanted to maintain the standard of the current flow of aid from the bank.
