The Bangladesh Nationalist Party standing committee will brief the media on the current situation of the country today.
The decision to hold a press conference at the party central office in Dhaka at 1:00pm was taken in an emergency meeting of the committee at the BNP chairperson’s Gulshan office in the capital on Wednesday evening, the party chairperson’s press wing member Shamsuddin Didar told New Age.
The meeting also decided to hold a meeting with all the members of BNP-led 20-party alliance at the same venue in the evening, he said.
The Wednesday’s standing committee meeting discussed the country’s current political situation in the wake of BUET student Abrar Fahad murder and the prime minister’s recent India visit.
