Herbert Ludwig Jaeger has recently been appointed as a director of Mutual Trust Bank Limited, said a press release.
Prior to the appointment, he was an investment director of DEG – the German Investment and Development Company, Thailand Representative Office and a vice president/senior investment manager of DEG, Koln, Germany and senior investment manager of Apatar Radolfzell GmbH, Radolfzell, Germany.
Jaeger began his career as credit manager, export financing in 1985, where he served for 5 years, said the release.
He also served Landesbank Rheinland-Pfalz GmbH, Germany (Central Bank of saving banks) as its accounting and IT head from 1993 to 1995 and ISB — Investitions-und Strukturbank Rheinland-Pfalz GmbH, Germany (Development Finance Institution) as the chief financial controller and member of the management board from 1995 to 1998.
Jaeger has also worked at Advans MFI Myanmar Company, Mandalay, Myanmar and has been a member of the board of directors and its audit committee since 2018.
He is also acting as investment director of the Financial Institutions of Norfund — the Norwegian Investment Fund for Developing Countries — at the Norfund Bangkok office.
