Recently retired Zimbabwe skipper Hamilton Masakadza on Friday told that he wanted the current Bangladesh one-day international skipper Mashrafee bin Murtaza to write an autobiography about his inspiring journey in international cricket.
‘I think not too many people know the story he had been through. I told him [Mashrafee] to write a book, because his life has been an inspiration,’ Masakadza told reporters.
Mashrafee’s struggles with injury and his contribution to Bangladesh cricket was much bigger than everyone realised, Masakadza felt.
‘I think he is one guy people don’t realise what he has given. What he has given to Bangladesh cricket,’ he said.
