City Bank and Sundarban Express Transportation Systems (SETS) have inked an agreement recently, said a press release.

The agreement has been signed to explore the opportunity of agent banking in SETS regional offices across the country, the release also said.

City Bank MD and CEO Mashrur Arefin and SETS MD Sheikh Tanvir Ahmed signed the agreement.

According to both of the organisations, this agreement will significantly improve the condition of financial inclusion in Bangladesh, said the release.

City Bank DMD and chief information officer Kazi Azizur Rahman, digital financial services head Md Zafrul Hasan, business head Mohammad Mahbub Sobhan and agent banking head Quazi Mortuza Ali and SETS vice-chairmen Hafizur Rahman Pulok and Ahsanul Kabir were also present, among others, the release said.
