At least 420 Rohingya trafficked till June

At least 420 Rohingya people have become victims of human trafficking in last two years, according to an assessment of the International Organisation for Migration.

The IOM presented the paper at a consultative workshop at a hotel in Dhaka on Saturday. Foreign secretary M Shahidul Haque inaugurated the workshop.

According to their information, the trafficking situation in Cox's Bazar district has exacerbated since the beginning of the latest Rohingya influx in August 2017 and the total number of victims is 420 till June 2019.
