Different TV channels are offering a plethora of programmes to entertain viewers during Eid-ul-Azha celebrations. Among the programmes, teleplays, telefilms and drama serials are most popular among viewers.
This year teleplays dominate the Eid schedules. These feature young generation actors like Nisho, Tanzim Tisha, Jovan, Tousif and others. On the other hand, the Eid drama serials are featuring seasoned actors and actresses like Zahid Hassan, Salahuddin Lavlu, Chanchal Chowdhury, Nusrat Imrose Tisha and so on.
Alongside Eid programmes the channels will also telecast programmes marking National Mourning Day, which will be observed on August 15.
ATN Bangla will telecast forty teleplays, two short nine-episode Eid drama serials and ten telefilms as part of its ten-day Eid special programmes.
The drama serials namely Ekti Divorce-er Jonyo and Lekur Everest Joy will be aired at 7:30pm and 9:30pm respectively.
Ekti Divorce-er Jonyo has been written and directed by Mohan Khan. It stars Shajal, Moushumi Hamid, Nasim and others.
Lekur Everest Joy has been written by Brindabon Das and directed by Shokal Ahmed. The serial stars Raisul Islam Asad, Chanchal Chowdhury, Pran Roy, Nabila Islam and others.
The channel will air four teleplays, one each day. The teleplays will be aired at 8:30 am, 6:00 pm, 8:00 pm and 8:30 pm and telefilms will be aired at 11:30 pm.
Starting from Eid day, teleplays namely Nurul Alam-er Madhuchandrima, Anushondhan, Kalochithi, Janak, Goni Shaheb-er Kichhu Din and others will aired at 8:30 am, Fahim The Great Fazil- 2, Unfit, Heart Beat, Sheidin Sraban-er Megh Chhilo, Premer Diwana and others will be aired at 6:00pm, Beautiful, Phirey Ashi Bar Bar, Ekshathey, Love Express and others will be aired at 8:30 pm. Besides, nine comedy teleplays under the segment Chutibhandar-8 will be aired at 8:00 pm.
Besides, the channel will telecast telefilms like Roud Dupurey Hotath Brishti, Chhoya, Aral, Pherari, Bibaho Birambona and others.
Channel-i will telecast fourteen teleplays and nine telefilms as part of its eight-day Eid special programmes. The channel will air two telefilms and two teleplays daily.
Staring from second day of Eid, the channel will air telefilms namely Aguner Meye, Adhar Kushum, Rokto Wrin, Kuhu Bhalobeshey Chhilo Arkokey and Protibimbo at 2:30 pm, while the teleplays Chinibaba, Krishan Krishanir Kabya, Buk Bhora Bhalobasha – 2 and Hash Tag Me Too will be aired at 4:30 pm.
Teleplay Ashen Amra Mishti Mukh Kori will be aired at 7:50 pm on Eid eve.
Starting from Eid day, the channel will telecast teleplays Porir Naam Moynapokhkhi, Shetu, Nabbai Din, Pochattor-er Dairy, Thekey Jay Proshno and Tom Bou at 7:40 pm, while teleplays Balish Bilash, Kathpencil-er Kahini, Badshah Alamgir-er Lottery, Barshik Porikhkha, Prem Tumi Ami, Tetul Patay Duijon and Pita Premik will be aired at 9:35 pm.
Besides, the channel will air another season of its Chhoto Kaku series. The eight-episode detective series will be aired every day at 6:10 pm starting from Eid day.
The series has been written by children’s writer Faridur Reza Sagar and actor-director Afzal Hossain plays the character of Chotu Kaku.
NTV will air seven-day Eid special programmes. The channel will air two seven-episode drama serials, over forty teleplays and seven telefilms.
Drama serials Behind the Puppy and Kuhak will be aired at 6:10 pm and 6:45 pm respectively.
Behind The Puppy has been directed by Redwan Rony. It stars Mosharraf Karim, Jui, Aporna and others.
Shihab Shahin directed Kuhak stars Tanzin Tisha, Polash, Sahiha Noor and others.
The channel will air four teleplays and one telefilm daily.
Teleplay Proshthan, starring Mehzabien, Faruk, will be aired at 9:00 am, while Tauquir Ahmed directed teleplay Paduka Shomachar, starring Tauquir Ahmed, Nazia and others, will be aired at 9:25 pm, Bhalobashar Rang, directed by Sajjad Shumon, starring Bisho, Tanzin Tisha, will be aired at 11:10 pm, Heartless, directed by A R Bellal, starring Jovan, Farin will be aired at 12:10 am on Eid day.
Besides, the channel will air teleplays Mugdho Byakaron, Chhoro Pakhi, Perfect Wife, Tumi Phirey Asho, Shishir Bindu and others.
The telefilm Qurbani, directed by Shahid Un Nabi, starring Shajal, Moushumi Hamid and others, will be aired at 2:30 pm on Eid day. Besides, telefilms Case 3040, Doodle of Love and others will be aired on the channel.
Banglavision will telecast eight-day special programmes from Eid day.
The channel will air four seven-episode drama serials, thirty six teleplays and seven telefilms.
The drama serials namely Kobul Bolilo Key, Alal Dulal, Choritro: Bharatia and Otopor Shikhkhito Bou will be aired at 6:45 pm, 8:40 pm, 9:55 pm and 11:00 pm, respectively.
Kobul Bolilo Key has been written and directed by Sagor Jahan. The serial stars Mosharraf Karim, Aporna, Fazlur Rahman Babu and others.
Alal Dulal, written by Muntaha Britta and directed by Abu Hayat Mahmud, stars Zahid Hasan, Salahuddin Lavlu, Shabnam Fariha and others.
Choritro: Bharatia, written and directed by Masud Sejan, stars Chanchal Chowdhury, Nusrat Imrose Tisha and others.
Otopor Shikhkhito Bou, written by Kazi Shahidul Islam and directed by Salahuddin Lavlu, stars Salahuddin Lavlu, Niloy and others.
Starting from Eid day, the channel will telecast one telefilm at 2:10 pm. It will telecast the telefilms Bahirey Urey Jyotsna, Opekhakhar Naam Tumi, Too Much Love, Phera and others.
The channel will air teleplay Me and You at 5:05 pm, Bachelor Eid at 5:55 pm, Raajkumari Kimba Labanyer Golpo at 7:50 pm and Opotyashito Bhalobasha at 11:45 pm on Eid day.
Besides, teleplays Jui Tukey Ektu Chhui, Lucky Bhai, Bokul Katha, Shishir Bundu, Khobor Wala, Shukno Chaa Pata, Agantuk, Trust Me and others will be aired on the channel as part of its Eid special programmes.
Ekushey Television will telecast seven-day Eid special programmes.
The channel will air three seven-episode drama serials and over twenty teleplays.
The drama serials Junior Artist, Bongsho Morjada and Mama Bhagner Charitra Phooler Moto Pobitro will be respectively aired at 1:30 am, 6:20 pm and 11:20 pm.
Junior Artist stars Mir Sabbir, Rawnak Hasan, and Runa Khan, among others, Bongsho Morjada stars Faruk Ahmed, Shilpi Sarkar and others, while Mama Bhagner Charitra Phooler Moto Pobitro stars Chitra Lekha Guha, Munira Mithu and others.
Teleplay Pick Pocket, starring Jovan, Mitu and others, will be aired at 1:00 pm, Biye Hobey, starring Nadia Minu, Mishu Sabbir and others, will be aired at 8:00 pm and Bao Batash, starring Chanchal Chowdhury, Shabnam Fariha and others, will be aired at 10:00 pm on Eid day.
Besides, teleplays Master Ji, Ami Abar Tomar Angul Dhortey Chai, Bahlobashar Shokshobha and others will be aired on the channel during Eid celebrations.
Maasranga Television will air seven-day Eid special programmes.
It will air one seven-episode drama serial, fourteen teleplays and seven telefilms.
Drama serial 25/2 Kathmandu, written by Brindaban Das and directed by Shokal Ahmed, will be aired at 7:30 pm. It stars Chanchal Chowdhury, Pran Roy and others.
On Eid day, teleplays Water and Kidnap will be aired at 9:00 pm and 10:30 pm respectively, while telefilm Last Goodbye will be aired at 11:30 pm.
Besides, the channel will telecast teleplays Dushto Kutum, Remote Control, Bhol Bodol and others along with telefilms like Marriage Material, Mon-er Gohin Corridor and others during Eid celebrations.
Desh TV will telecast fourteen teleplays during its seven-day Eid special programmes.
The teleplays will be aired at 7:35 pm and 8:35 pm from Eid day.
The channel will air teleplays Jamai Jobdo and Jey Raatey Shei Esheychhilo at 7:35 pm and 8:35 pm, respectively, on Eid day.
Jamai Jobdo has been written by Shafiqur Rahman and directed by Faridur Hasan. It stars Mir Sabbir, Tasnubha Tisha and others.
Jey Raatey Shey Eshey chhilo, written by Mezbauddin Ahmed and directed by Shokaal Ahmed, stars Shamol Maola, Shaon, Jenni and others.
From second day of Eid, the channel will telecast teleplays Jey Pakhir Dana Nei, Phoenix Paakhir Gaan, Code Red Ponero and others at 7:35 pm and teleplays Jyostnar Golpo, Opochhonder Saathdin, Mayasri and others will be aired at 8:35 pm.
Besides, channels like Deepto TV, Baishakhi TV, RTV and others will telecast special programmes marking Eid-ul-Azha.
