Bangladesh rugby teams leave for Indonesia

Bangladesh men’s and women’s rugby teams will leave for Indonesia tonight to take part in the two-day long Asia Rugby Seven Trophy, scheduled to begin in Jakarta on August 11.

A total of 11-nation will take part in the Asia Men Rugby Seven Trophy where Bangladesh team play against Thailand and Afghanistan in the three-team Pool B.

Bangladesh women’s team are taking part in the Asia Women Rugby Seven Trophy for the first time and are pitted in the five-team Pool B, which also includes South Korea, India, Laos and Qatar.

Each men’s and women’s team of Bangladesh comprised of 10 players while four officials will tour to Indonesia.
