Barguna senior judicial magistrate’s court on Wednesday allowed the police to take Aysha Siddika Minni, widow of Rifat Sharif, to interrogate her in remand for five days.

Ayeshsa resisted the murder of her husband all alone and hundreds of bystanders did not come to her aid.

The murder took place in the morning in  n broad daylight near the main gate of Barguna Government College in the Barguna district town on July 26.

Judge Sirajul Islam Gazi passed the order in the afternoon responding to prayers  of Barguna police station inspector for investigations Md Humayun Kabir, assigned to investigate into the case.

Inspector Humayun produced Minni at the remand hearing.

Judge Siraj rejected Minni’s bail application  submitted by her father Moazzem Hossain Kishor as no lawyer appeared for her.

The sudden twist in the case that saw Minni arrested as an accused sent shock waves across the nation.

The remand hearing over,  Moazzem told reporters that his daughter became a victim of conspiracy.

Barguna police arrested Minni in the case Tuesday night after interrogating her at the office of the police superintendent throughout the day.

Minni is still the number one witness in the case.

Earlier, the police arrested 12 accused in Rifat murder case.

A video clip of the murder captured in a surveillance camera that went viral on the social media shows criminals hacking Rifat Sharif brutally in broad daylight and Minni resisting the murders all alone and none of the bystanders came to her aid.
