ACC’s Basir, Police’s Mizan sued over bribery scandal

The Anti-Corruption Commission on Tuesday filed a case against suspended ACC director Khandakar Enamul Basir and suspended deputy inspector general of police Mizanur Rahman over sensational bribery scandal.
The commission approved the case against them after its inquiry found that Basir took Tk 40 lakhs from Mizan for excluding his name from a graft case, said ACC secretary Mohammad Delwar Bakht.
ACC director Sheikh Mohammad Fanahfillah filed the case with ACC’s integrated district office-1 of Dhaka.
