Indian film Kidnap to hit cinemas today

Imported Indian Bengali film Kidnap is going to hit cinemas today across the country.

The film, which has been imported under the SAFTA agreement, stars Tollywood superstar Dev and Rukmini Maitra along with Sahidur Rahman, Sriparna Roy, Prantik Banerjee, Buddhadeb Bhattacharya and Ashim Roy Chowdhury in leading roles. Kidnap has been directed by Raja Chandra and produced by Nispal Singh under the Surinder films banner. The film has been imported to Bangladesh by Shapla Media.

Kidnap gives the viewers a glimpse into the shady world of women trafficking rackets. In the film, Tas Chatterjee’s daughter gets kidnapped by a child trafficking racket. Mina who is a photojournalist attempts to expose this racket however she gets kidnapped too. On the other hand, her boyfriend Dev tries to get hold of the racket to rescue his photojournalist girlfriend as well as the missing girl.

‘Kidnap has been imported in exchange of local film Prem Chor. The film will be released in 70 cinema halls,’ said Shapla Media chairman Selim Khan.
