Bangladesh has strongly condemned the attack on Abha International Airport of the Saudi Arabia by Houthis, leaving one dead and injuring several others.
‘We’re concerned that such unprovoked acts undermine the security of the Kingdom and tend to adversely impact the peace and stability in the region,’ said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday condemning the attack that took place on June 23.
While expressing sincere sympathy to the innocent victims of this attack, Bangladesh expressed its solidarity with Saudi Arabia against any threat to its security and remained steadfastly committed towards regional efforts for maintenance of peace and stability, the ministry said.
A Syrian civilian was killed and 21 people were injured when Abha airport was struck by Yemen’s rebel Houthi movement on Sunday evening, according to BBC report.
