Three students of Islamic University were injured after falling off a tree on the campus in Kushtia on Sunday evening.

The injured students were Rakib Hossain, a second year student of management department, Dipu Kumar Paul and Kamal, both first year students of law department of the university.

Witnesses said Kamal climbed on a tree adjacent to the vice-chancellor’s bungalow to pick jamun around 6:00pm.

At one stage, when Kamal was about to fall off a broken branch of the tree, Rakib and Dipu tried to save him. But the branch fell on them, leaving the trio injured.
