Faisal Rahman has been appointed as deputy managing director and chief business officer of Prime Bank recently, said a press release.
He will lead corporate and institutional banking division.
Prior to his appointment, Faisal was the senior executive vice-president and Corporate Banking Division relationships and structured finance unit head of Eastern Bank, said the release.
He started his career at Credit Agricole Indosuez in 1995 and later moved to Standard Chartered Bank, where he was responsible for managing multinational clients and customers from export processing zones and public sectors. His last role in Standard Chartered Bank was strategic business development director, the release said.
Faisal obtained BA in economics and BSc in business management degrees from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania, USA and is also a certified ‘credit professional’ from OMEGA, UK, said the release.
