‘This will be our second visit to India this year. We will perform at the show on June 16,’ Sharmin Sultana Sumi, vocalist and leader of Chirkutt, told New Age.
‘It is always a great honour for us to represent Bangladesh in a foreign country. Besides India, we have previously performed in Sri Lanka, Malaysia, England and Australia. I hope the music lovers in Agartala will find our performance entertaining,’ added Sumi.
‘We will perform our songs like Duniya, Kanamchhi, Ahare Jibon and others at Rabindra Bhaban,’ she informed.
Chirkutt comprises Emon Chowdhury (guitar), Pavel Areen (drums), Sharmin Sultana Sumi (vocal), Didar (bass) and Nirab (keyboard).
