Md Ashraf-uz-Zaman and Md Abul Hashem have been appointed as deputy managing director of Uttara Bank, said a press release.
Previously, Ashraf was executive general manager of the bank.
Ashraf started his banking career with Uttara Bank in 1988 as a probationary officer. He worked as branch manager at many branches and served in various positions in the bank, said the release.
Ashraf obtained his master’s degree with honours in political science from the Rajshahi University in 1982.
Hashem was executive general manager of the bank before the new appointment.
He started his banking career with Uttara Bank in 1997 as a probationary officer. He joined the dealing room of treasury division, head office in 1999 and had been working as treasury head since December 1, 2011, said the release.
Hashem obtained his master’s degree in political science from the Dhaka University in 1990.
