A total of twenty eight Bangladeshi artistes are participating in the week-long Asian Civilisation
Parade under way in Beijing Olympic Park in China.
The parade, one of the major side-line events of the Conference on Dialogue of Asian Civilizations (CDAC), began on Thursday. Chinese prime minister Li Keqiang inaugurated the event, which runs twice a day at 10:00 am and 4:00 pm.
Artistes from 16 Asian countries and 10 Chinese teams are participating in the event which showcases rich cultures of Asian countries.
The Bangladesh cultural team comprising nine singers, ten dance artistes, five technicians and four instrumentalists flew to China on May 12.
The event will end on May 22.
