The record was previously held by Bangladesh’s Mohammad Ashraful and Shahriar Nafees, as the pair had formed an unbeaten 130-run stand for the third wicket in March, 2008 in Dhaka.
4 - Abu Jayed became the fourth Bangladeshi bowler to grab a five-wicket haul on foreign soil in an ODI match when the pacer took 5-58 against Ireland in Dublin on Wednesday. Mashrafee bin Murtaza was the first Bangladeshi to do so, when he claimed 6-26 against Kenya in Nairobi on August, 2006. Abdur Razzak then took 5-56 against Sri Lanka at Pallekele and Ziaur Rahman claimed 5-30 against Zimbabwe in Bulawayo in 2013.
130 - Paul Stirling hammered 130 runs against Bangladesh on Wednesday, which was his first century against Bangladesh and his highest ODI score against a Test playing nation. It was also the highest individual innings in an ODI match between Bangladesh and Ireland.
292 - Ireland posted 292-8 against Bangladesh on Monday, which was the second highest total in ODIs between the nations. Bangladesh had previously posted 293-7 in Dhaka in 2008.
