Bangladesh reached the Recurve Men’s Team event bronze final of the 2019 Hyundai Archery World Cup Stage-2 when they defeated India by 5-1 set points in the quarter-final in Shanghai, China on Thursday.
Bangladesh team comprised of Hakim Ahmed Rubel, Ruman Shana and Tamimul Islam Mohammad defeated India’s Jagdish Choudhary, Chaman Singh and Sukhchain Singh in the quarter-finals.
Bangladeshi archers will play against South Korean team comprised of Lee Woo Seok, Kim Woojin and Lee Seungyun – in the Recurve Men Team event bronze final today.
Meanwhile, in the elimination round of the Recurve Men’s Individual event, Hakim Ahmed Rubel lost to South Korean’s Lee Seungyun by 3-7 set points while Ruman Shana lost to Netherlands Van Den Berg Sjef by 4-6 set points.
