Bangladesh golfer Siddikur Rahman carded four-over-par 146 and successfully made the halfway cut in the 38th GS Caltex Maekyung Open Golf Championship at the Namseoul Country Club course in South Korea on Friday.
Siddik, the two-time Asian tour winners of Bangladesh, is now sharing bottom 65th place with eight other golfers as a total of 73 players survived to run in the next two days of the event
with a purse of US$1,067,000 (approximately).
Siddik traded one birdie against six bogies for five-over 65s on the day, after signing for an opening one-under 70s.
Siddik is now 10-shots behind the joint leaders Finland’s Janne Kaske and Korean Taehee Lee, who took a one-shot lead
above the two other Koreans Junwon Park and Yoseop Seo.
Janne Kaske and Korean Taehee Lee scored matching six-under-par 136 for the lead.
