Senior journalist Mahfuz Ullah is in critical condition, his family said on Sunday.
‘His all medication has been suspended. But he is still alive. We are waiting so that he can leave peacefully,’ Mahfuz Ullah’s daughter Dr Meghla told New Age from Bangkok at 5:26pm.
Mahfuz Ullah, who had been suffering from various complications in heart, kidney and lung, is now undergoing treatment at Bumrungrad International Hospital.
The journalist was earlier admitted to the city's Square Hospital with chest pain on April 2. He was flown to Thailand on April 10 for advanced treatment.
