Gonoshasthaya Dialysis Centre on Sunday opened a 25-seat dialysis centre at Gonoshasthaya Kendra in Savar as part of its initiative for the medical services of kidney patients, said a press release.
Gono Bishwabidyalay vice-chancellor Professor Laila Parveen Banu presided over the inauguration ceremony where vice-principal of Gonoshasthaya Samajvittik Medical College and coordinator of Gonoshasthaya Dialysis Centre physician Mohib Ullah Khondoker and chief of Nephrology department Brig Gen (retd) Professor Mamun Mustafi delivered their speeches.
Speakers said that Gonoshasthaya Kendra was providing low cost dialysis services with good quality.
Gonoshasthaya Kendra founder and trustee Zafrullah Chowdhury, trustee Sandhya Roy, Gono Bishwabidyalay former VC Professor Mesbahuddin Ahmed, Arts and Social Sciences Faculty dean Professor Monsur Musa, Physical and Mathematical Sciences department Professor Hasin Anupama Azhari, examination controller Mir Murtoza Ali, Gonoshasthya Kendra coordinator Manzur Kadir Ahmed were also present, among others.
After opening the dialysis centre in 13 May, 2017 it completes more than 1,75,000 session successfully.
