Bangladesh fulfilled their primary target of reaching the semi-finals of the tournament when they beat Bhutan 2-0 in their opening match on Thursday.
Hosts Nepal also reached the last-four of the competition with a 3-0 win over Bhutan in the opening match of the tournament on Tuesday.
Bangladesh captain Sabina Khatun expressed her confidence of winning the match and finish as group champions.
‘We are looking forward to our second game with confidence,’ Sabina was quoted as saying by a Bangladesh Football Federation press release on Saturday.
‘I am happy that I could score the second goal to seal our victory in the first game.’
Bangladesh coach Golam Rabbani Choton said that his charges were improving very fast.
‘Our players are young and they are improving all the time,’ said Choton.
Nepal coach Hari Khadka believed that the match will be an interesting one as in terms of strength both the teams are equal.
‘Both teams are good and balanced. It will be a very interesting match tomorrow [today] for group championship,’ said Nepal coach.
Meanwhile, India and Sri Lanka confirmed their semi-finals berth from Group B, eliminating all-losers Maldives.
