Global office furniture manufacturer and innovative workspace solutions provider Steelcase on Thursday announced opening of a showroom at Dhaka.
Steelcase, in partnership with Work Space Technology, set up the showroom at Ventura Triveni, Banani in Dhaka to strengthen the presence of Steelcase in the Asia-Pacific region, said a press release.
The showroom opens doors to local and international businesses in Bangladesh, and will provide them with comprehensive workplace research, latest trends and an in-depth knowledge quotient from around the globe, it said.
Steelcase’s user centric architecture, furniture and technology solutions will help the companies present in different sectors to create workplaces and effectively optimising the use of space, the statement said.
Steelcase India and South-East Asia managing director Praveen Rawal said, ‘We are happy to work with WST, who has a valuable experience in designing workplaces in Bangladesh and will provide the optimum workplace solutions to our customers.’
Work Space Technology managing partner Mizanur Rahman Chowdhury said, ‘Our joint synergies will contribute to new designs and enhance productivity in Bangladeshi workplaces. WST is already deeply engaged in designing commercial interiors, and I believe this partnership will add immense value to workplaces in the country.’
