2-day int’l summit on clean energy begins Mar 10

Infrastructure Development Company Limited (IDCOL), a state-run non-banking financial institution, is going to organise an international summit titled ‘Bangladesh Clean Energy Summit 2019’ in Dhaka in March 10-11.
Finance minister AHM Mustafa Kamal is expected to attend as chief guest at the opening session of the seminar and exhibition at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) in the city.
Industry professionals from both manufacturing and services sectors, technology suppliers and traders, trade associations and bodies, financial institutions, development partners, government bodies and policy makers, foreign dignitaries, academicians and researchers are expected to join the conference.
The objective of the event is to create a platform for energy practitioners to exchange knowledge, ideas and address challenges through interactive discussions on various aspects of clean energy which include technology, market development, financing as well as policy and regulatory matters.
The exhibition will remain open for all from 9.30 am till 8 pm.
