Armenian ambassador to Bangladesh Armen Martirosyan, who resided in New Delhi, met foreign minister AK Abdul Momen at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday and discussed issues relating to bilateral cooperation, including the Rohingya crisis.
The Armenian ambassador briefed the foreign minister about recent developments in the bilateral cooperation, said the ministry on Monday.
The meeting covered the entire range of bilateral relations, including trade and culture as well as the Rohingya issue.
The foreign minister and ambassador stressed on further strengthening existing relations by expanding the areas of cooperation for the mutual benefits of the countries.
Both sides also stressed on the importance of strengthening cooperation between Bangladesh and Armenia within international organisations.
