Pradip Ghosh’s film Shuttle Train, featuring lives of students of Chittagong University and the popular and historical train known as Shuttle Train, is going to be premiered on February 24.
Made on public fund, the film will have 15 consecutive shows from February 24 to 28 at Shawkat Osman Memorial Auditorium of Central Public Library in the capital.
Based on a story titled Bahe Samantaral by Mohsena Jharna, the film focuses on the beauty of the university and students’ lives and aspirations, romantic and otherwise.
The Shuttle Train, which carries around 20,000 students daily, remains at the centre of the film.
Former and current students of the university have acted in the film, while songs of the film also been rendered by former students.
