F Minor releases its first solo

All female music band F Minor, comprising artistes from ethnic minority groups, released its first music video titled Poran Priyo recently marking upcoming Valentine’s Day.
Penned and put into tune by the members of the band, the songs are featured in Bengali and Garo languages. Eminent singer Partha Barua did the music arrangement of the song that runs ‘Shunogo ore Poran Priyo/Jaino shudhu tomar lagi pahariya mon moniya/ Achi ami poran patiya’.
Shot at beautiful locations at the hill tracts of the country, the song shows lives, relations and emotions of people of the region.
F Minor started its journey in October 2016. The band aims at representing music and culture of ethnic people living in Bangladesh as well as to cover other genres of world music. Folk music of ethnic communities is also prioritized by the band.
The line-up of the band consists of five young members — Pinky Chiran (vocal), Nadia Ritchil (guitar, ukulele and vocal), Gloria Manda (lead guitar), Diba Chicham (kajon), Akiu Marma (keyboard).
