Artistes recite popular poems

Renowned recitation artistes entertained the audience reciting popular poems penned by leading poets at a programme held on Thursday at National Theatre hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy.
The show, titled ‘Aaaj Milechhi Praner Taaney’, was organised by Srot Abritti Sangsad as part of its yearlong programmes marking its 30th founding anniversary.
Artistes recited poems portraying human relationship, language movement, liberation war, contemporary society and others at the show.
Ahkam Ullah recited poems like Amader Maa penned by Humayun Azad, Harikesh Babu by Asifur Rahman Nipon, Kallu by Subodh Sarker and others at show.
Rupa Chakrabarty recited Jelkhanar Chiti by Nazim Hikmat, Shotto by Asad Chowdhury and others.
Asaduzzaman Noor recited Camp by Jibanannada Das, Jonmer Age Mrityu Ke Korechi Alingan by Tarik Sujat, Nuruldiner Sara Jibon by Syed Shamsul Haq and others.
Shimul Mustapha recited Amar Porichoy by Syed Shamsul Haq, Aboni Bari Acho by Shakti Chattopadhyay, Jater Bojjati by Kazi Nazrul Islam, Mone Pore Ruby Roy by RD Burman and others.
Hasan Arif recited Dekha Odekha by Sohel Anwar, Proinoy by Aminur Rahman, Projonmo by Shuvo Dasgupta and others.
