A Bangladeshi youth was shot dead by the members of Indian Border Security Force along the border in Haripur in Thakugaon on Tuesday, four days after the killing of another man by the BSF in Ranishankail.
The deceased was identified as Jenarul, 18, son of Abdul Toaf of the Haripur.
BSF members of Maladakhanda camp opened fire on Jenarul and some cattle traders when they gathered near border pillar 354/1, leaving Jenarul dead on the spot, said commanding officer of Karigaon company of BGB 42, EnamulHaq.
On Friday, last, Jahangir Alam Raju, 21, son of Badshah Mia of Shahanabad in Ranishankail, was shot dead by BSF members along Dharmagarh border in the upazila.
