Prime minister Sheikh Hasina has reappointed five of her advisers each with the status of a minister assigning them with their previous tasks.
The reappointed advisers are HT Imam for political affairs, Moshiur Rahman for economic affairs, Gowher Rizvi for foreign affairs, Towfiq-e-Elahi Chowdhury for energy and power affairs and retired Major General Tarique Ahmed Siddique for security affairs, according to a gazette notification issued by the cabinet division.
They would be entitled to the status, salaries and other facilities similar to a minister, said the notification signed by cabinet secretary Mohammad Shafiul Alam on Sunday.
Prime minister Sheikh Hasia along with her other cabinet members on January 7 took oath of office for the third consecutive term after the December 30 general election marked by widespread fraudulences and flaws.
