Bangladesh were held to a 1-1 draw by hosts Thailand in their second match of the UEFA Under-15 men’s friendly tournament at Chang Arena, Buriram in Thailand on Wednesday.
Ashikur Rahman gave Bangladesh the lead in the 34th minute when he headed home the ball into the net after a cross from Ibne Ahad Sakil from the right flank.
Chonnapat Bhupan restored the parity for the hosts with another headed in the 45th minute connecting to a corner kick from the left side.
Bangladesh, who lost their opening match to Cyprus 0-4, will play their final match against Maldives at the same venue on Friday.
The champions will be decided on the basis of points.
The tournament is organised by UEFA in association with the Asian Football Confederation with a view to develop youth football under the UEFA Assist Mini Tournament Project.
