Tanguar Racing, an electric motorsport venture of local electric transportation company Advanced Dynamics Limited, on Wednesday announced that it would launch a nationwide tour followed by a global tour next year with their own electric vehicles to promote clean transportation and sustainable lifestyle.
Tanguar Racing made the announcement at a press conference held in Dhaka.
ADL chief business officer Mohammad Tauseef Anwar said Tanguar Racing, in association with Dreamers and Doers, a marketing agency, would go for nationwide tour that would take place in March when the team would drive 1,800 kilometres in 15 days.
The team will drive from Tetulia to all the way to Teknaf with their electric vehicles (cars) that will be powered by batteries and solar panels, he said.
After that the team will go for a world tour that will start at the end of March and the team will drive around 40,000 kilometres for three months, he said.
The global tour will cover seven cities, 14 countries and three continents.
‘We expect that more people will explore this field and adopt clean transportation and sustainable living in different aspects of their lives,’ said Mohammad Tauseef.
ADL chief executive officer Ad Ahmad said, ‘Bangladesh has a great potentiality in the industry and therefore, home-grown vehicle options should be developed.’
