Noted actress-TV host Moutushi Biswas said she finds it gratifying to work in puja-related shows and events, describing her works during the ongoing Durga Puja festival.
In an interview with New Age, Biswas said she had worked in two puja-special television shows that were already aired.
‘I have hosted a style show titled Dabor Amla Extraordinary Styling, which was screened on RTV at 7:45pm on Saturday as part of the channel’s Puja special programming,’ she said.
She also hosted a live show titled ‘Utsabjog,’ aired on Ekattor TV at 5pm on Saturday. ‘I visited several temples and alters and talked to the devotees in that show,’ she said.
However, she appeared in no puja-special teleplay this year.
‘As an actress I wanted to work in special teleplays aired during the festival but I don’t know why it didn’t happen. I was approached by no director,’ said Biswas.
Aside from her works, she also talked about how she spends her time during the prayer ritual.
‘I am really fond of Durga Puja. During this time of the year, I can visit from one altar to another along with my family members. It’s fun and exciting.’
The actress also talked about her present activities, saying she is working simultaneously in four drama series being aired on different channels. Recently, she worked in a cooking reality show titled ‘Mizan Shera Radhuni-2016,’ which is scheduled to air starting October 18.
Biswas also said she is looking forward to working in films but that will have to wait until she gets a good story to work on and a good director taking care of the project.
