Md Abdul Kader Joaddar has been appointed as country chief financial officer of Standard Chartered Bangladesh, becoming a member of the bank’s country management team in Bangladesh, said a press release.
Prior to joining Standard Chartered, he was working as the deputy managing director and CFO of BRAC Bank Limited.
Speaking about the appointment, Standard Chartered Bank Bangladesh CEO Naser Ezaz Bijoy said, ‘I am delighted that Joaddar is taking the helm of our Finance team. With his deep pool of expertise, global exposure, drive and integrity, I have no doubt that Joaddar will become a core part of the Bank’s leadership team as we strive to drive commerce and prosperity of Bangladesh.’
