One Bank launches OK wallet service

One Bank Limited (OBL) on Tuesday launched OK wallet service to make mobile financial service proposition fast, more secure and more convenient for the bank’s core banking customers and mobile banking customers.
One Bank chairman Sayeed H Chowdhury formally inaugurated the OK wallet service at a ceremony held at OBL corporate headquarters in Dhaka, said a press release.
Bank’s vice-chairman Ashok Das Gupta, executive committee chairman Zahur Ullah and directors Shawket Jaman, Salahuddin Ahmed and Syed Nurul Amin and managing director M Fakhrul Alam along with senior executives of the bank were also present at the launching ceremony.
This OK Wallet will cater to wide range of services including cash deposit and withdrawal, in-store shopping by QR code, utility bill payment, money transfer, mobile recharge, inward remittance, insurance premium, salary disbursement and e-commerce payment, said the press release.
Customers who have bank accounts or mobile banking accounts with One Bank can use the OK wallet.
OK account can be opened and topped up at ONE Bank branches and agent points.
Besides, cash can be withdrawn from branches, OBL ATMs and agent points.
Smartphone users can use the wallet by downloading the OK wallet app from Google Play Store and Apple Store.
Feature phone users can avail the services by dialing *269# on mobile keypad.
