Miss World Bangladesh winner Jannatul Ferdous Oishi is now busy preparing for the upcoming Miss World 2018 scheduled to be held in December in China.
She will be groomed for a month for the contest under famous Indian grooming expert Noyonika Chatterjee.
Sharing her plans for the upcoming Miss World contest, Oishi told New Age that she was giving the best possible efforts for the contest.
‘I am representing my country in the upcoming Miss World 2018 competition and that itself is a very big honour for me and my family. I will try my best to epitomise my country in the best possible manner,’ said Jannatul Ferdous Oishi.
She is not thinking about much before the competition other than focusing on preparing herself to be fit enough for the international contest.
Oishi was born in Pirojpur and has recently completed her HSC. Her interests include swimming, painting, dancing and music.
‘I never took part in any reality show or competition before participating in Miss World Bangladesh,’ said
She mentioned that she has to develop skill in catwalk, communication and grooming and all the necessities involved to become Miss World and represent Bangladesh in an honourable way.
‘Noyonika Chatterjee is considered to be the best grooming expert in the subcontinent. We hired her because she has successfully groomed four Miss Worlds. If Oishi concentrates on her training, she will be within the top ten in the upcoming Miss World 2018 competition that will be held in China,’ Shopon Chowdhury, organiser of Miss World Bangladesh, told New Age.
Speaking about her future plans, Oishi said, ‘After completing my graduation, I want a career in the media sector and my family is very supportive about it since they come from an environment of art and culture’.
