The 4th Development Fair was organised countrywide from October 4 to 6 with a slogan of ‘Unnayaner Abhijatray Adamma Bangladesh’.
The fair was organised by deputy commissioner and district magistrate Syeda Farhana Kawnine in Narsingdi in that sequence.
She highlighted the overall development of Narsingdi along with national development in the fair, said a press release issued on Wednesday.
The fair was a demonstration of country’s development that featured mega projects undertaken by the government including Padma Multipurpose Bridge, Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant, Dhaka Metro Rail and the prototype of Bangabandhu Satellite-1, according to the release.
Meanwhile, the deputy commissioner also set up a job corner for the unemployed youth and encouraged many industrialists in the districts, the release claimed.
Besides, different services, including providing porchas, land development tax collection and milk food licenses, with the help of Nestle BD Ltd Narsingdi , were provided in the fair.
