The embassy of Bangladesh in Brazil held a two-day National Development Fair 2018 at the commercial city of Sao Paulo on October 3 and 4.
Presence of a huge number of Bangladeshis made the even successful. Representatives of Sao Paulo chamber of commerce and local Brazilians also take part in the fare.
There were a number of stalls displaying Bangladeshi products and handicrafts at the fair. The venue was decorated with images of major development projects.
The fair also featured documentaries on sector-wise development in the country and exhibition of publications.
A 45-minute documentary on success of the present government was also screened at the fair.
Detailed presentations were made on the development achievements of Bangladesh under the leadership of prime minister Sheikh Hasina.
A lively discussion was held on the role of non-resident Bangladeshis in Bangladesh’s development, participated by the large gathering of community members.
