IU VC leaves Bangladesh for Brunei

Professor M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari, vice-chancellor of Islamic University in Kushtia has left Dhaka for Brunei on Saturday night. 

The vice-chancellor left Dhaka for Brunei around 11:00pm, said a press release signed by, Rashiduzzaman Khan Tutul, an assistant registrar of IU Information, Publication and Public Relations Office on Sunday morning.

Professor Rashid Askari will participate the 8th convocation, which is scheduled to be held on Monday at University of Islam Sultan Sharif as the special guest.

He will meet the Sultan of Brunei as part of his three-day visit.

Later, a Memorandum of Understanding between Islamic University and UNISSA would be signed for exchanging academic activities, the release added.
