The Prime Minister’s Office on Wednesday accorded a reception to some newly-appointed officials and officers who were transferred elsewhere recently from the PMO with promotion.
Presided over by prime minister’s principal secretary Md Nojibur Rahman, the reception ceremony was addressed by prime minister’s international affairs adviser Gowher Rizvi as the chief guest.
‘All the hopes and aspirations of the Bengali nation were destroyed with the murder of father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman along with most of his family members. Prime minister Sheikh Hasina is implementing the dreams of Bangabandhu,’ Rizvi said.
‘All the officials and members of staff of the PMO are part of one family,’ he added.
Newly-appointed director general of the National Security Intelligence Major General Zobayer Hossain, outgoing DG of the PMO and acting secretary to Ministry of Industries Abdul Halim, newly-appointed DG of the Special Security Force Major General Mojibur Rahman, PMO secretary Sajjadul Hassan, SSF outgoing DG and Bangladesh Army CGS Lieutenant General Shafikur Rahman and outgoing DG of the NSI and Bangladesh Army QMC Lieutenant General Shamsul Haque also addressed the function.
