Bangladesh Nazrul Sangeet Sangstha artistes rendered romantic songs penned and composed by national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam at a programme held on Saturday at Kabi Sufia Kamal Auditorium of Bangladesh National Museum.
BNSS organised the programme titled ‘Amare Debo Na Bhulite’ Kazi Nazrul Islam’s 42nd death anniversary, which was observed on August 26.
BNSS general secretary Khairul Anam Shakil gave the welcome speech at the programme.
BNSS artistes commenced the programme with a chorus rendition of the song Mrityu nai dukkho nai.
In solos, Syeda Sanzida Bithika rendered Bhulite parina tai, Sonjoy Hawleder sang Keno uchaton mon, Promita Dey rendered Keno kade poran, Joseph Kamal Rodrix sang Ami achhi bole dukkho pao tumi, , Karim Hasan Khan sang Ele kigo chiro sathi amar, Mirza Bushra Fatima rendered Torun premik, Khairul Anam Shakil sang Tumi jotoi dohona, Rezaul Karim rendered Ontore tmi acho chirodin, Dipti Sammader Dipu sang Oi ghor bholano sure, Tanvir Ahmed sang Bakite esechi, Kalpana Anam rendered Ami chirotore dure chole jabo, Mustari Hossain Panna sang Ami cha(n)d nohi, Nasrin Jahan rendered E kon modhur sarab dile, Bijon Chandra Mistri rendered Khela Sesh holo.
