Shakib Khan-starring Tollywood supernatural action thriller Naqaab is expected to simultaneously hit cinemas in India and Bangladesh on September 14.
The film, directed by Rajib Biswas and produced by Indian production house SVF Entertainment, will be released in Bangladesh as an imported film under the SAFTA agreement.
Local production and distribution house Jaaz Multimedia will import the film and, in exchange, Saikat Nasir’s Pashan will be exported to India.
‘Shakib Khan-starring supernatural film Naqaab will be released in India on September 14. We are also trying to release it on the same date in Bangladesh as local movie lovers are eagerly waiting for the film’, said Abdul Aziz, chairman of Jaaz Multimedia.
Shakib Khan has played double roles in the film, while Indian actress Nusrat Jahan and Sayantika Banerjee have acted opposite Shakib Khan. The film also stars Rudranil Ghosh, Sudip Mukherjee, Amit Hasan, Kharaj Mukherjee and others in supporting roles.
Pashan, on the other hand, stars Indian actor Om and Bangladeshi actress Bidya Sinha Mim.
