Finance minister AMA Muhith on Wednesday said that the election-time government would be formed in next 20 days comprising prime minister Sheikh Hasina and few more ministers.
He also predicted that the next general election was likely to be held on December 27.
He made the remarks when the newly-elected mayor and councillors of Sylhet City Corporation met him at his secretariat office
in the afternoon.
Muhith could not say how many members would be there in the poll-time government.
He, however, said there would be no representative from the Bangladesh Nationalist Party and from the civil society.
He hoped that the election would be a fair one as the way mayoral poll held in the Sylhet City Corporation.
