Information minister Hasanul Haque Inu on Sunday said that Bangladesh Nationalist Party had not refrained from politics of conspiracy and all of its demands were aimed at establishing an ‘abnormal’ government by creating constitutional vacuum.
He accused the BNP of resorting to create constitutional vacuum by making demands which included Sheikh Hasina’s resignation, dissolution of parliament and holding of polls under caretaker government.
Inu was attending a conference organised by Jatiya Juba Jote, youth front of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal, as the chief guest at Bangabandhu Avenue.
JSD chief said that the government or Election Commission had nothing to do as far as BNP’s demand for Khaleda’s release from jail was concerned. It was a matter that lay under the jurisdiction of the court, he added.
